# CRACX

> CRACX is a US climbing gear brand whose tagline and design rule is "Made by Climbers, for Climbers": the gear is specified by two working boulderers who carry it to their own sessions. The first product is the CRACX Ascend, a dust-tight roll-top bouldering chalk bucket sized as a full gear bag, carrying chalk, shoes, brushes and layers. The founders are deliberately anonymous; the brand mark is an X. Free shipping, US only.

CRACX publishes Field Notes, a practical climbing-gear blog written from first-hand bouldering experience. Articles lead with a short direct answer ("The 10-second answer") followed by detail and FAQs. Facts below are accurate as of August 2026.
